Well I've never written anything on here before but here goes. I'm starting week 9 tomorrow. Can not believe that I can run 28 minutes! I am very slow but I don't think that matters. I go every other day without fail in the week. Tomorrow I start week 9. I was terrified by the big jump from 8 mins to 20 but somehow I did it. My son bought me a running lead for the dog for Mothers Day. At the time I wasn't that impressed if I'm honest but then a friend told me she was doing c25k with Jo Wiley. I had a look and SarahMilican appealed to me and she has been great. In week 1 it was horrible because Bella my black lab just pulled me along but now she pulls me for the warm up walk and a couple more minutes then she drops in beside me. Great company and never lets you down. To be honest when she pulled me now it gets my legs going when I feel sluggish. I switched on Strava at wk 4 when I wasn't quite so bad and I love seeing how far I've been and how slow but I am improving. My longest run has been 4.7k so far. Amazing.
Never been able to run.: Well I've never written... - Couch to 5K
Never been able to run.
Welcome! Bella is beautiful 😍 And so nice for you to have a running buddy! Massive congrats on making it this far, good luck with w9 😀
So you have been getting on quietly by yourself......well with Bella, of course......well done.
It looks as if you have a great pacer there, who will keep you going through thick and thin.
We will cheer you over that finish line, so keep us posted.
I think Bella should join you on the podium next week. It’s great to have a running buddy 🐕🏃♀️
Well done! You are nearly at the podium! 😃 and well done to you Bella 😍
So many of us could say the same as your title - and we've all done it. Good luck to you and Bella with the rest of the programme.
Congratulations to you and Bella-she’s gorgeous! I wish I had a faithful Bella to join me. Might stop me being scared of what ‘might be’ lurking in all the bushes! 😂
thanks, she is great pulled me along today and I did 5.1k
Well Done you you both! Hope your son has now been forgiven. This programme is so well designed, no matter what age or sex you are, it somehow works. Best wishes for your imminent graduation.
