Hi hope I'm at the right place to request my graduation badge????Thank you for all the organization that goes into making people like me feel so good about starting to run.
Hello Roseabi. I completed my C25K this morning and would love a graduation badge. My final run (W9R3) was a charity 5K in aid of the firefighters which was lovely & a worthy cause (despite the mud). Thank you very much xx
Hi Roseabi, I actually completed C25k back in July but didn't get round to posting here for a badge. It is a brilliant programme and I love running (done 9 parkruns now, each one slightly quicker than the previous one). The support on this forum has been great.
I can see your Graduate badge next to your name. If you are using the Health Unlocked App to view posts here, I'm afraid you won't be able to see your badge. Log in via your internet browser and you should see it xxx
Just done W9 R3 this morning and have even signed up for a reindeer stampede (5Kpark run) on Sunday to prove it to the family. So I will get a medal, free antlers and a mince pie too. Winning!
Not sure if Iβm commenting in the right place. I would really like to be awarded a graduation badge. My name is Jean Robinson and my user Iβd is Noodle 91
Hi there, I finished week 9 this week. I've been running 5k since W8R1 on a time if between 32mins/34mins. I can't thank NHS Couch to 5k enough.. When I started W1 I had to stop after about 30secs... I can't believe how far I've come..
May I also request a badge - completed last week, although Iβm repeating the very last run until I feel more comfortable with 30 minutes. Iβm still shy about my running. I never say βIβm going out for a runβ but βIβm going outβ, and I donβt run with other people as I donβt feel inclined/ not sure I could keep a conversation, and I donβt want to worry that Iβm slowing people down. But by continuing consolidation I hope to improve my confidence.
Hi! I guess I technically graduated in October (when I completed the program) but I just did a full 5k (ran the whole thing!), and I'm so proud! So now finally requesting "graduate" next to my name. Thank you so much for this program!!! It has meant so, so much to me!
Just seen this. I finished on Wednesday and still canβt quite believe I did it! Off the find the consolidation club thread as suddenly feeling a bit lost without the target of the next run in the program to keep me motivated.
Well that was horrible but its done now. Is there such a thing as a Personal Worst? That was it! Too many Christmas dinners over the weekend I think. Can I have my badge please?
I think I need to carry on with the 30 minute runs until it gets easier before I try anything else. I'll have a look at the consolidation info too I think.
Hi could I get my badge please, finished about a month ago, still running for 30mins and trying to increase my distance now. Great programme to support non runners like myself!
Hi, I finally finished the plan last week π. Can't quite believe I've managed it especially when I remember how hard I found week 1! First run off plan this morning and managed to reach 5k for the first time too ππ. Mainly hated running at the start and now I mainly love it (although those first 5 mins are always my mental battleground!).
Hi, that's strange because I can see your Graduate badge next to your name! If you are using the Health Unlocked app unfortunately you will not be able to see your badge - you need to log in via a browser xxx
Hello, I just completed week 9 πββοΈπ₯³π.. thank you for providing the goal and framework to radically improve my health over the past 2 months. I would be delighted to see Graduate next to my user name, thank you and Merry Xmas βοΈβοΈ
Hurray!!! I graduated this evening ππ» Iβm so amazed that this works, I still canβt believe it. Thank you to this wonderful forum for all the advice and motivation π
Hello, I completed my first 5k run last week on the last race of week 9 on the App. I completed the 30 minutes and just thought : sod it, and kept jogging. I was wearing a sports watch which told me how many KM I was running. I reached 5k after 43 minutes and 16 seconds, will probably write a post about it soon
Hi RosieB - I actually completed a month or 2 ago and am nearly done on the 10k (9k last week!) - just managed to pick up a heavy cold now plus a stomach bug though so that one will have to wait till Jan but a 5k badge would be nice thanks!
Really enjoyed the ride with the lovely Laura. Am so proud of myself 'coz I was always rubbish at sports at school. At 60 years old I have now run further and longer than I have ever done in my life before! Will definatley keep on running, next goal is a park run, then on to 10k!
When I started 5k seemed such a challenge that I can't really believe how easily it went (easily compared to what I expected). First weeks were the toughest, probably because starting from a low base (w1 runs were done 8 times before feeling I could move on). Did 5k on Saturday in just under 40 mins - wheeeee!!
Thank you to the programme - I feel hugely fitter and healthier. Thanks also to the forum members and administrators for support and advice.
I am now looking forward to consolidating and then moving onto 10k.
And - because it is one of the things that helped in terms of having a target to achieve - may I have a badge please?
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done, and yes here is your badge πππ
Today I finally completed the C25K! Looking forward to being a graduate. Today was very cold and a little icy but I completed it and look forward to the new year of running.
I finished today in the snow!! If someone told me when I started that I'd be running 30 minutes straight, let alone in perfect weather, but in the snow? I would've laughed! But here I am!!
Hi completed couch to 5k Iβm September and Iβm still running 3 times a week. Iβm significantly lighter and healthier. Please may I apply for my badge thank you
Really pleased to have completed couch to 5k , some days were better than others, but overall feel much better for it! Will endeavour to continue running a couple if times a week at least. Next outing should be a run in boxing day and then a dip in the sea barrier!!!!
Done it. Finished with a park run in 40 mins. Michael Johnson gave up on me so ran for 40 mins. Followed with coffee and mince pie with a crazy group of running friends. Feel like I earned my badge. Going to stay with 5 k. Think that's about my level. Thanks for fab support, got here at third attempt. Whoop whoop.
Hi I completed C25K today ! Amazing program ! Iβm running for 30 minutes non stop so Iβm going to be working on running 5 k . This program is amazing !
Hi. I completed the Couch 2 5 K this morning. What a fab programme. Iβm 61 years old and was not a runner. I have got through the programme with no injuries and have loved every minute. I feel really proud of myself. I will be joining your consolidation club and hope to do my first park run after the new year. Please may I have my badge? Thank you so much.
Hi, Could I have a badge please, just finished my third run of week nine today and feeling very pleased with myself. A few hiccups this week as weβve had some extreme weather - with 39 and 43 degree days this week in sunny Melbourne - not really been suitable for running, but I finally got there.
Wouldnβt have made it without the wonderful support and information on this site!
Now for consolidation over the next 4 weeks then hopefully will start stretching it out so I can finally make 5km and do some park runs.
Hi. I completed run3 week 9 yesterday. Really feeling great and will be reading and contributing on the consolidation forums. Thank you for all you all do.
I'm not sure if this is what you mean by comment below. But, I finished my C25K a couple of months ago - I just found this site. I am so happy I found the app and finished it!! I had tried a couple of times before, but this time I stuck with it and it has made such a difference for me. Thank you to everyone involved in creating the app and running (pun intended) this site.
I hope you enjoy this website! We also have communities for those wishing to run further than 5K, and just generally improve their running and/or fitness:
Hi I have finished the programme! So pleased to have done great support from my fellow runners and proud of myself too! Please can I have my badge ππββοΈ
Ta dah! Completed C25K this morning. I think it took around 10 weeks, needing to work around some hot weather and a few appointments.
While running is still very slow, I'm finding that most days the run is easier than the previous day. I'm looking forward to a period of consolidation where I can get faster and closer to 5K. At this stage the only goal I have is to be running for 30mins 3 times/week.
Like others I am appreciative of this community which helps greatly in encouraging and maintaining motivation. Thanks roseabi for your part in keeping it running smoothly.
Hello! I graduated in October just getting round to now asking for my graduate badge! I may be a graduate but Iβm still very much on my couch to 5k journey!
Yay! I finished this morning π₯³ Could I please get my badge? Thank you ππΌ Iβm so proud to be a part of this, it really has made such a difference in my life βΊοΈ
Hello! Iβve just finished my graduation run (celebratory cuppa and cake being scoffed as I type!). Please may I add my name to the December Graduate list. Many thanksπ
I graduated todayπ. I started on the 12th October and managed to run 5.26 km over the 30 min today so well chuffed with my progress over that time. What a great app. Thanks for the support.
I actually graduated about 6 weeks ago and dont post much, but as I've read plenty on here and gained from all the encouraging posts, I'd like to post a few of my own, and move on to the bridge to 10k......wearing my badge with pride for both would be nice.
Thanks to all the admin + regular posters on here, really is a great community and I'll try to be a bit more involved in it now I'm well and truly addicted to this running malarkey, hoping to do 5 miles for the first time today!
HI, please can I have a badge. I started C25K on 1st Jan 2019 aged 67. I am now 68 and this morning I completed 5K in 30.15 mins. I am so grateful to C25K and feel that I have a new lease of life. Many thanks and please keep up the good work. Happy New Year
Can you badge me up please, completed my first 5k of the year and first for 2 years thanks to the couch to 5k programme on 7th December in 29:42 at my local Park Run. Trust in the programme!
If on mobile, press down on the image and you should get a pop-up with an option to download. On desktop/laptop right-click and select 'save image as'. This may vary depending on your device π
I've come to this very late being excited to have completed my final run of week 9. I started Couch to 5K on March 22 and am so proud to have completed the programme. I will keep running but would love a badge - even though I'm over 60! You never stop loving a badge!
