Technically I ran it in November, but I ran 10km!! My knee was absolutely fine whilst out running, but about an hour after I returned, it's been painful to go up or down stairs- otherwise fine. I've had a compression support and rested and iced and it's feeling better today (48hrs later).
Ooooo baileeyx ...take it easy on that knee! Sounds like you’re doing the right thing...Ice, compression and rest, just the ticket. Well done on your 10k, an amazing achievement that deserves a shiny badge 😊...happy running...but not yet! Let us know how you’re getting on
Hi there, completed my 10k & looking to progress to HM. Can't believe I managed this, following from C25K 😀. Not logged on for a while, but looking for inspiration, again. Please can I have my badge 🤞
I don’t know how I did it but after running about 25 5k’s on Saturday as our park run had been cancelled I decided not to try for a PB but just enjoy a run, but kept on running and got to 10 k, enjoyed it so much did another 10k on Monday 😀could I please have my badge I am very proud of 🏃♀️
Hello! I did a 10k on the 14th November (according to my mapping app) and have done at least that distance twice a week ever since, did 7.5 miles today (but that was a horrid run)! Please could I have a magical badge? Many thanks
You certainly can wyrdwolf ....you deserve it after all that!! As for today's run, just bag the stamina and mileage you gained and take it out with you along with your shiny new badge next time!! Well done 😊
My pleasure 😊 just drink it all the time, well in between hot drinks..I just keep a water bottle on my worktop or in the room where i am, it's easier to drink at room temp too
Did my 10k graduation run this morning. Lovely clear crisp cold day so ideal for running. Stopped only to take a photo of the lake I run past - like a mirror today and beautiful in the winter sun.
Hi Mummycav couldn't wait to do this then get back to shorter runs. 10k completed in 1hr 20, not fast but done. Could I have my badge please. Thank you
Grannyhugs ...this is excellent news...and who cares about how long it takes??? You are amazing and don't you forget it!!! I have been waiting to give you this badge, you have done soooooo well!! Congratulations x

Well done 51mc , now that is sheer determination right there...I think the elves must've started polishing your new badge each time because it's got an extra shine to it!!! Fantastic achievement and a lovely Christmas present to yourself, wear it with pride 😊
Just did it today! (See post). So that's two back to back parkruns at a pace 2 mins faster than my first Parkrun back in August. So ... reasonable progress I guess! 😃😃
Morning, managed to run 10k a couple of weeks ago and still can’t quite believe it. In fact I’ve managed it 3 times again since! Would love a badge please 🏃♀️💪🏼😊
Hiya Mummycav , we've already had the chat and you've seen my photos..now I'll just put my best dress on ready for the awards ceremony! Chuffed, well chuffed xx
I am playing a fanfare for you Gingernutter ..and your dress is stunning but your badge is out shining it because the elves have some new polishing cloths!!! Well done on your fantastic achievement!
Hello! Today I managed to run 60 mins without stopping 😀 and covered just over 8k. Slowly working my way towards 10k but it is nice to pick up the 60min milestone en route.
That’s fantastic Runcat77 ...i saw your post but then some Christmas present or other needed sorting so i was otherwise diverted!! I’m glad you posted your excellent achievement on here because i got a notification so here i am with your shiny badge...well done x
Hi, Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas break I'm chuffed to bits to say that I ran my first 10km on Boxing day morning (definitely earned my breakfast that day ) and in 67.12 minutes please may I have a graduation badge too when you have time

Started running in May 2019. Graduated C25K and did first parkrun in July. First injury in August. Resumed running in October. Now running sub-25min parkruns. And just before 2019 finishes, have now done my first 10k and 60-minute run (and have registered to run a 10k event in January). Thanks for the programme.
I did it! 10km achieved. I started running in April, graduated C25K in June. It's taken a little longer to build up to this milestone. But who's rushing?
Yeeeessss !!!!the longest I’ve ever run in my life age 52 ! the sky was dimming and turned pink I did the last bit in the forest and this helped to breathe scalp was sweating I came home had a cuppa and Christmas cake now on wine and cheese what a fab way to finish off the year and a purple lavender bath bomb soak life is good Cardiff half in October..
Clocked up a 10K run yesterday so would love to start 2020 with a shiny new badge. Please can you wave your magic wand (or whatever tech skills you have) to make that happen.
