We see this post a lot when people say oh I couldn't be bothered and then how glad you are when you did go and completed the run. I did also on a run. It's worth remembering this. Hope you enjoyed it . 😚😊
Well done you - amazing time too! I’ve just run 5k again too, but a little slower 🤣
So tell me, do you think it helps, doing one of the three sessions on a cross trainer? I’ve been thinking about it too, to save my ankle, but it seems so boring compared to running! If it would help my ankle I’d do it though.
Honestly...Since I had an ankle injury I think the turbo trainer has really helped me maintain my cardio fitness and, obviously, help ease the strain on my ankle, but oh.my.goodness it’s THE most boring thing I’ve ever done fitness wise! I’d actually go so far as to say I hate it 😒 This week in desperation I took the iPad into the garage with me and it did marginally help to break up the mundaneness of the activity, but overall I find it incredibly boring and I think that time actually does slow down for the entire 30 minutes 🤣 However; yes, ankle wise it’s perfect 👌🏼
Thank you for that! I should give it a go.. but it’s the boredom factor as you know 😖 We’ve got ours in the garage too 😁 in the past when I’ve had a phase of using it, I’ve played foreign language CDs to make use of the time, but I’ve forgotten it all now!
