I had to wrap up proper warm today! Brrrr! Do not like the cold, its OK after half way through, but not that first half!
Had the podcast for the first time today. It was quite good, not too intrusive and good to have some different music to run to, but can't say it is my thing! It was nice to hear the timings, but wasn't to bothered about the coaching bit tbh. I am glad I gave it a go.

Nearly gave up and some of the way (up a big hill again!) wondered if what I was doing even counted as running any more! It certainly felt like it! But kept on waiting to stop till I reached the next point.... Lets see how I feel then!
Half the secret to success on this program is physical and half is mental. Keeping up that positive mental attitude of ‘I CAN do this’ and thinking of that end goal will ultimately see you through to the end. Even if you feel like you might as well be walking 🤣 I think we’ve all been there 👍🏼 You are smashing it and you’re getting so close to the end now. We’ve all got your back 💪🏼
Good to know, thanks rhedeg. I think I will try a nice flat run for run 3 this week and hope that makes me feel a bit more able as well! Mix it up a bit and see how we go!
Congratulations on getting out in the cold. Layers to keep you cozy at the start then peel off are best. Nice solid runs now for a few weeks, graduation will soon be here.
Looking forward to that moment, but also a little worried that the organisation of it will fall apart a bit! I think I can think my way through to at least the consolidation runs and hope by then it will be a good habit that I will keep!
You are very wise. I really admire those who just start c25k just now brrr all those walk stages, at least you are running now 😀 just seen Annie's post - definitely warm up at home. Theres a good runners warmup routine on the nhs site. Happy running
