Wk4 R1 - what a day

This morning I had the wind in my hair. Not from any weather, it was the result of a chicken madras and the overnight after effect. In fact, for fear of Delhi belly striking mid run, i postponed the dreaded wk4 r1 until after work, and you know i hate running after work.

But, after some fairly abysmal commuting for both me and my wife, we got home, looked at each other and agreed unanimously that we really didn't want to go out and run.

30 minutes later we were back home, soaking wet, and feeling pretty pleased with ourselves.

My wife nailed wk3 r1. I felt pretty comfortable with my run too. And I did it without music, by choice this time.

Think I'm going to be a bit sore tomorrow, but I keep telling myself I'm enjoying it.

Happy running everybody.

I feel like tonight was our 'commitment run'. We overlooked a lousy commute home tonight, the temperatures and rain... and we chose to just get out there and get it done. I was gritting my teeth at the thought of setting foot back outside! The sweet reward was a very surprising enjoyable time. Nearly have to pinch myself and check..., am I actually saying I *might* like this?!?

Exactly. for us it was somewhere in the middle of c25k that we realised it’s just something we do..... whatever else we have to do we just go out and run
