So my first run in week 4 and I'm officially running more than I'm walking!!. Feels ace now that I've achieved it but got to say it was so hard,Especially the last 5mins run .. 6 months ago I was unfit ,dependant on alcohol, smoking, and taking cocaine. This turn around in my life is down to all the poeple ( my doctor, key worker, and support workers ) that have helped me along the way . Only now after 20+years of abusing my body I have a goal which is to smash this 5k and progress to the next level. Also running is helping me so much with my mental health issues and only wish I'd of started this programme long ago . So to all of the people out there thinking that you can't do this ,YOU CAN. !!. Happy running people✌

I can't believe it's week four already! You are storming through this!
I think the fact it does feel hard and you have to push yourself at times makes for a more interesting challenge! You feel like you have really achieved something at the end, right? And god that's a great feeling!
You are doing so well. You are actively turning your life around. Things can only get better and better for you. Keep tapping in to all your support networks both on here and in "real life" and when times get tough, which they will, remind yourself why you are doing this and read back through all your old posts to show yourself how far you've come and remind you about how good you felt.
