First 20 Minute Run

So on week 5 Run 3 there is quite a hike up from the previous 5 and 8 min runs to 20 minutes.

However apart from the 5 mins walk either side of it that's it. The 20 min sandwich was OK. I was fine, became a little tired around 18 and was glad to walk after this. Plenty of countdowns from Laura on how long I'd been running and all was good to complete week 5.

I was accompanied by sounds from Stereophonic, Ramones, Coldplay, Hendrix, Enya, Dido, Jonathan Richman and the Who.

Brilliant- that's a great milestone run. W6 looks easy, but can catch you out of you take it for granted. After that, no more intervals just lovely relaxed runs where you can really find your stride. Enjoy!

Yes I am determined to complete the programme and will bar illness or injury. Then need to think about how to follow on from this.

Thanks it is First 20 minutes for about 12 years when I used to run regularly for a club and I was nearly 2 stone lighter, that's my big problem.
