First 20-minute non-stop run!

Finally, Week 5 Run 3 done! I was dreading it but also determined to push on. In the end, I found the run reasonably okay. I wasn't even tempted to sneak in a few seconds' rest walk. I'm going to follow Laura's advice and repeat it before moving on to Week 6. Feeling really good!

Laura tells you to repeat it? Did she? Are you sure? She may have said if you feel you must. Don't feel that you have to. You can move right along with Week 6, Run 1.

Carry on slowly and steadily and you'll be at Graduation in no time

Have fun and take care

This is a landmark run on the programme so really well done in doing it. As misswobble says you don't have to repeat it. Just start week 6 run 1 but be careful of this one as it's back to intervals and some people find it surprisingly challenging after the w5R3 run. Just take it slowly and you'll be fine.

I agree with misswabble Laura says if you need to do it again. Trust in the programme and yourself. Take is really slowly but if I were you I would move on to wk6 run 1. This will prepare you for the 3rd run in wk6. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Very well done - you're a star achiever. I know Laura says repeat things .... if you need to - but do you? You've just achieved it, so why repeat. If you repeat r3, wk5 you are repeating a 20 min run, whereas the programme actually gives you a 10 min x 2 (or is it 8 min x 2 ? I've forgotten) in wk 6. Makes sense to carry on. Be warned 'tho - lots of people say wk 6 is tough. Carry on upwards! Listen to those expert graduates - they know what they're talking about.

Thanks for all your comments. I'll be letting you know how I get on on Tuesday!

Very well done! That run's a real milestone. I felt so good after achieving it and bet you do too. I'd move onto week 6 if I were you :)

Generally, if you don't finish a run you should repeat it, if you have done it move one! Of course, though, do what feels comfortable for you x

I did my W5R3 on Friday night and am starting W6R1 tonight. I won't say I found W5R3 easy but it wasn't as difficult as I thought. I was dreading it to and felt great on achieving it. Everyone says Week 6 is the killer.

Good luck for tomorrow.
