20 minute run...DONE

Wow.

Never thought I’d get to the point where I could run for 20 minutes without stopping but Week 5 Run 3 is in the bag!

Thank you everyone for all the lovely messages when I was having a panic about it last night, your words of wisdom really helped...I embraced my #InnerSnail and made it through (I actually managed to speed it up a bit for the last 5 minutes and felt like I was properly running!).

When I saw the weather this morning (misty, drizzly, cold) I didn’t think it was a good omen but I think I actually preferred it slightly cooler as I didn’t struggle with getting too hot too quickly.

Now I’m off to put my feet up and get ready for some Formula 1 later on today - have a lovely day everyone 😁

Well done! I’m also looking forward Monaco this afternoon. We’ve both earned it! Hoping for Danny Ric to smash it.

The usual warning that W6 is harder than it looks but perfectly do-able. Don’t go off too fast thinking it is only a short run. Enjoy it x

Thank you! And super happy that Danny won 👍🏻

I’m ready for week 6 now but not getting carried away and thinking I’m ready for more, my little burst of speed today was enough for me 😂 x

I remember starting off having tried this twice in the past and never having gotten past week 3 and thinking I’d never be able to complete it but...I found this forum and everything changed!

I love seeing posts from others and then finally posting myself last night and getting such awesome help and inspiration has really made me feel like I will succeed this time...we’re all in this together 💙

Yes I did it. Kept to a slow and steady pace . Definitely important to focus on getting task completed even if it means going slower than normal . My inner snail did me proud x

I'm just about to go up to W5 and I cannot comprehend the leap from 5 minutes to 20!

kirstyt88 profile image
kirstyt88 in reply toLoonyLoo

Neither could I, I thought it was way too much of an increase but you just have to trust in the program...the people who put the plan together know what they are doing it - and you can absolutely do it!
