Final run done!

Final run done this morning. I run in the countryside with no pavement and spend all the time dodging tractors. I always wonder where other people run. What are you running around?

Brilliant. Well done on your amazing achievement.

I'm just starting out on tarmac.

But, as I progress and need to change up my routes, I think I might need to mix it up. If only save my knees :-)

The dil is a bit heavy here so tarmac is best in the winter. I might switch in the summer!

Congratulations and Happy Running to come! 🎉👏🏼🎉 I run on the edge of the New Forest, along farm track, past the ponies & sometimes cows, past the ploughed/growing fields and then round the common. No tractors so far, but the combine harvester gave me an anxious moment - I waited until it had turned & headed away. 😱 (as these things go, I I think it was small, but a lot bigger than I am!) And I didn’t so much appreciate having the track ploughed up along with the field. Otherwise it’s a lovely route. 🤣 Happy tractor dodging! 👍

It sounds wonderful. I feel very lucky to be out in the wilds but a luminous vest is a necessity!

I am lucky enough to have a fabulous park on my doorstep which I use nearly everyday.

My daughter thinks I should be stir crazy running there all the time but I love my park.

4 days running there 2 days walking into to town and my Sunday morning trip to get Sunday papers.

My Saturday run there is Parkrun so luckier still. ( No excuse not to go )

In the winter I used to run around the local streets because I used to go out earlier before my husband retired and I never really felt safe.

I am with you. I run best doing the same route at the moment. I will venture further later.

Looks like we were week 9 r3 together today. Well done 👍🏼👍🏼 graduation is good but graduating in good company is better.

Many congratulations!

I run in a local park at the weekends but it closes at dusk, so during the week I'm on local roads/pavements. I'm always amazed how many other people are out running down the main roads near me! The park is much nicer but you do get to see all aspects of life on a street run! 😊

I used to run in the town but I would definitely be on the look out for a park. It has to nicer!

it is much nicer to run in a park but I have days when I can only run in the evening, so it feels safer to be on the pavements than a park on those dark nights....roll on Spring :D

Well done for completing c25k

Dogs i run around dogs and sometimes they run around me and try and trip me up I wish they would stay with their owners instead of running round my legs yapping but i usually leave them behind

I thought for a moment they were you dogs then realised they were everyone else's. I love them but mine don't make good running buddies. Your post made me laugh!

Thank you. There seem to be a selection of little brown fluffy dogs in this area each one a different shade of brown but without fail they run circles round my legs and jump up trying to trip me up

I met a small black evil looking dog on my last run that ran round me growling and barking it’s owner said he won’t hurt you and i muttered that’s a bit of luck, then ran on to get out of his way because i thought he might bite whatever the owner said

Well done on your graduation Ordct ...you need to collect your badge now to go with those gorgeous trainers!!! Collect it here healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

I'm lucky enough to have a park right across from my front door...they have parkrun there too so I have an ever changing picture out of my windows that I just cannot help myself going out and running in!!

Yes that’s same as me.

Very lucky.

Parks are great for running safe but scenic! I bought the brightest trainers I could find to deter my teenage sons from pinching them. So far so good but they tell me the pink isn't as off putting as I might think!

Woohoo, very well done! 🎉🎉🎉👏👏😄

I run on muddy field tracks, cinder tracks, nearby quiet streets if it’s dark & sometimes (joy oh joy) on the beach at low tide close to the waves. 😄

I impressed by the beach running. We are on the coast but I haven't tried that yet.
