October 2019 is just another month, but for some of you it will be seered indelibly into your memory as the month that you completed the simple, but life changing little training plan that is Couch to 5k.
YABADABADOOBYBOOBYWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
So this is the place that you come to claim that oh so hard won Graduation badge. Congratulations, fellow runner.
Please leave your username here for me, so we can organise your well deserved Graduation badge.
We will try not to leave you waiting too long as we know how great it feels when your badge arrives. We aim to get it to you within 24 hours..............but it might well be considerably quicker.
Please be patient and don't message admin about your badge.........we are doing our best.
Please feel free to download and save the above Graduation badge certificate that has been kindly designed by RunaroundSue.
Just to clarify the position of earning your Graduation badge.
To get your badge, you will have completed the full training plan and be able to run for 30 min.
It does NOT matter if you cannot run 5 km; you are a graduate after running 30 min for three times.
To ensure that it is fair to everybody, please do not ask for your badge until you have completed Week 9 Run 3.
Please don't rush off from this forum too soon, our graduates bring a wealth of information, experience and encouragement to our new runners. We would love to read about your next steps, your challenges and how you overcame them, your successes and achievements etc.
So, with that in mind, do please stick around here, and, as part of your future plans, join the C25k Quest, see the pinned posts for details.
Also, when you are ready... have a look at the ‘What Next’ post: healthunlocked.com/couchto5... written to give you tips as the world becomes your running track.
One point to note.......the Graduation badges only show up in a web browser, unfortunately not in the C25k app.
Any takers..............?
Congratulations from your admin team.

Good morning IannodaTruffe. I graduated a couple of months ago and still not showing as a graduate and still not sure where to get my badge? Many thanks.
Hi I graduated a few weeks ago on 31/08/19 at the Kingsbury Parkrun, time was 41.13. I’ve improved a bit on the time since then but I didn’t realise you could get a graduation badge on here lol.
I've read all your info about "next steps" really informative and having got this far injury free I'm determined to continue that way as long as possible. Thanks for all the help available here.
Race complete and heard your advice ringing my ears all the way. That and battling between 1600 kept me steady. Turned out it was only 4.9k which took 32:44 so still under my 10% time in grease from W9 runs
Brilliant thank you. I’ve always been active but conquering this running business has given me a new self confidence and a much needed structure to my life after retiring from a busy life. I’ve inspired my family to participate as well. There’s still life in this “old girl”.
Hi 😊I just don’t seem to be able to get my head round this graduation business. I have completed C25k and did all the runs. I did send a query before but not sure if I have got my graduate badge. Yesterday I ran 11k in 68mins 4secs but I’m not sure how to get into the bridge club and get my graduation badge for this. Sorry to be so dumb!,
You have come to the right place............and lo and behold, you now have a graduate badge!
To find the Bridge to 10k forum click on the matrix of nine dots at the top of the page, click the Find a community button and enter Bridge to 10k , then click on the search result.
Oooo thanks IannodaTruffe ..how amazing is that little grey smudge !! Thanks so much, can’t wait to be out there running again but I promise to have a rest day. You do a great job with the admin, very much appreciated 😊
I've just completed W9R3 this morning and have absolutely loved c25k, it's been amazing and I now love running and cant wait to continue each week and hopefully build up to 10k 🙌🏻🏃🏼♀️🎉🍾
Hi IannodaTruffe, I'm really chuffed to say that I completed the W9 R3 this morning. Thanks for all the support and advice from everyone it's helped me alot, I'm looking forward to improving and trying a parkrun soon
I graduated this morning! Took me a while as I got an ankle injury in Week 7 so had to stop and then get back to it gradually, but I'm so glad I persevered.
Hi. I graduated a couple of weeks ago and still haven't worked out how to claim my badge, so I'm going to try here 😊
I'm very proud to still be running for 3p minutes but am still looking forward to reaching the illusive 5km - I'm at 4.75km as my top distance so far.
I fell over twice on one of my runs last week, so today went out with my sister as a confidence boost. Feeling fragile but hopeful it was just a one off!!
Hi, I'm really happy with myself as I've just completed week 9 run3 and completed coach to 5k. I enjoyed doing the final run even though I have a knee injury. I don't run fast but I have been trying to enjoy it and stay fit. To get a graduation badge I would like to leave my name which is runningfever.😀
W9R3 completed yesterday afternoon! So delighted to have finished the program! Plat may I have a lovely graduation badge? My user name is GeekGirl80. Thanks!
I feel privileged to be part of the Graduate Group now & delighted to give back to C25k what I have received! I am off to my son in Canada a week today so will keep posting from there as and when! Running at high altitude after the coast should be a challenge🤣 Thanks again Ian! You are a legend!
Just graduated this evening. Someone has recommended some sort of Couch to 10k NHS app to keep going. But when I look in the app store there are several Couch to 10k or 5-10k apps. Which is the right one? Thanks!
PS Not quite at the 5k yet as am very snail-paced!
Hi there. I graduated last month. I started at 60 and it’s taken me about a year on and off but I finally succeeded and have coaxed a couple of friends to do the programme. I never thought of myself as a runner but thoroughly enjoying myself. I’d love to do a park run but, sadly, my nearest is a 50 minute drive away. I’ll carry on with my local route. Thank you.
Completed Week 9 Run 3 this morning in a light drizzle with a cool breeze. So pleased that I didn't think twice when I saw the weather - think I'm a fully indoctrinated slow shuffler now deserving of a graduation badge? Off to research what to do next to carry on!
Hi I've just completed Wk9 R3 of C25K - I'm so thankful for all the support of this community. I've loved the journey & now love running! Could you sort out a 'grey smudge' next to my name? It will mean a lot to see that 😁 Thank you
I finally graduated today!! So so pleased as had a couple of setbacks along the way. Thanks to all for the support. I’m by no means quick but feeling stronger than ever. Next target is to actually run 5k in 30 mins.... any tips?
Just graduated this evening - yay! Thank you so much for creating such a user friendly programme. I’ve tried running multiple times before & never stuck with it - but I’m a convert now ☺️
Neither I nor anyone else on this forum is anything to do with the production of the programme (Josh Clark in 1996) nor the podcasts/app which are produced by Public Health England, but we do think this forum is the icing on the cake.
Oh, and here is your well deserved Graduation badge.
I finished week 9 last Friday but thought I'd claim my badge after my first consolidation run today on my 52nd birthday. I'm going to carry on running to the dulcet tones of Sarah M for a while as I'm too scared to run without her! I've not posted before but I've lurked loads and been really grateful for all the wisdom and advice I've picked up on the way. Thanks.
I graduated this evening! From being able to run for a maximum of 5 minutes to 30 is something that means so much to me! I couldn’t have done it without Couch to 5K.
Hi I graduated on the 5th October @ Comber Park Run with a time of 34mins 43 secs. Would love to get my graduate badge. Now working on 5to10k after not thinking I would survive the first week of C25K!
Hello IannodaTruffe. I graduated yesterday. Still can’t quite believe it. I’m not fast, but that’s my next challenge! This forum has been a real inspiration and a real help. From lacing my shoes to cheering me on. Glad everyone was here.
Hello IannodaTruffe! I completed today my last run of C25K. With no hurry, I'd be happy having my badge...and I look forward to my next challenge! Thanks, Giulia (giuliasq is my username)
Good morning. I graduated 2 days ago. I was so excited with my achievement and am so grateful to this forum and to all the advice and support I found here.

Hi there - I graduated last week with my running buddy and it's taken me until now to find out how to get my Graduation badge (blonde AND senior moments going on)!!
Hello IannodaTruffe, I completed Week 9 Run 3 this morning. If I could have a graduate tag next to my username that would be great. And thank you for running this excellent forum.
Hi IannodaTruffe. I’ve just finished week 9 run 3 and was ecstatic to see the graduation notice on the c25k app 😁! Please add my graduation badge to this forum - my username is AchingHips. Many thanks.
Hello Iannoda, I graduated last week. Felt amazing and it’s thanks to this great community and to you and to all the good advice and support. Will now consolidate my 30 minute runs and enjoy being out there, just running.
I did it!! Week 9 run 3 complete today! Only covering 3.5km but I honestly can't believe I can even manage to keep running for a full 30mins!! I'll be sticking around and checking out how I can actually get up to the 5K mark. Thanks for reading x
YABADABADOOBYBOOBYWOOOOOOOOOOO! Could not have written it better myself! HAha! I completed on 30 November! Pleased as punch and looking forward to looking through here at where I can go next! (Working on that extra 0.3km to the 5k in 30m is on my mind! I’d love a badge 😍 please thank you?
