Final run done!

I am a graduate (again)! Feeling very pleased with myself as many factors have made this one more difficult for me to complete but by spacing out my runs I have done it. Apart from a twisted ankle one week it has been injury free and I have managed to mostly avoid the rain too! Springtime is great for starting this programme and I thoroughly recommend it to everyone. If you are just starting out - well done, it is so worth sticking with 😊

Sure is. Now real challenge is to keep it up and get to 5K before thinking about what’s next.

Yay! Go you! Hope you have a brilliant celebration planned. What did you do last time?

I’ve managed to avoid the rain too. No idea how. I’m waiting to get my full quota in a single run πŸ˜†.

All the best with the next stage, whatever that means for you. Wishing you many more wonderful runs.

Thanks Vespina. I don’t own a running jacket so if it rains I get wet but I think I’ve only ever gotten really drenched once.

I have three! I went a bit mad on eBay but as they all cost about Β£3, it was an affordable madness

Congratulations πŸŽ‰ well done!! I very much appreciate reading all the stories about how people reach their goals as it helps me keep going. I completed week 6 run 2 today and I found it hard going, I completed the run but had to dig deepπŸ˜“

Some runs catch us out and there will always be the odd unexpectedly tough run to slightly throw us but all runs are good training for the next one. I found it harder to manage week six intervals than previous weeks of shorter intervals (they became annoying and I think a lot of us on here find week 6 hard) but you can focus on continuous running from now on and that I found psychologically easier. Stick with it, each week completed really does prepare you for the next one πŸ™‚
