Haven't been finding much time to post lately. Now that I run with my daughter 3x week (she's just finished W3 and is starting W4 today) and then another 3x for myself, it really eats into my time. It is going great though. She is enjoyingvit and has lostsome weight. Down a clothes size in just 3 weeks. Isn't it great to be young?! That would take me months at my age.
It looks like Cyprus is still going to be really hot but early in the morning with a sea breeze, it should be nice for running. The running kit takes up quite a bit of space in the suitcase - well especially the trainers butvI can't go 2 weeks without running! Look forward to catching up with everyone when we get back.

It is been very busy with work, choirs and all the running. A break is always nice. I had thoughtvit would be a bit cooler end of Sept-beginning of Oct but due to its location , Cyprus will still be hot, around 28-30 degrees. It is always more bearable at the seaside though. Must say I have been really thankful that temperatures have dropped here this week, what a blessed relief and here I am heading off back to the heat! We have to decide whether we want a/c at the house and I really don't know but with those temperatures I think it might be best. Seems you have to book a/c separately in Cyprus not something I've encountered before.
I'd def go for the air con! I've not 100%enjoyed the hot weather, loving the cooler days much more! Think I'm an Autumn lover more than summer! plus the catch on my bedroom window is broken so relying on breeze from next room! π
I am hoping it won't be too hot! If it is we'll head up the Troodos mountains one day for a respite. Have never holidayed in a tin tent but you're selling it well!
It sounds so lovely... really lovely. I lost weight, because we ate loads and loads of salads.. too hot to eat much else Those mountains sound wonderful. I am going to google them
The tin tent is great, and comes into its own when abroad... We are hoping to head off for a few days in the UK next week, where we are supposed to be having a mini- heatwave... 21 to 25 degrees ..Just right.
Yes, those sound like my temperatures! The nice thing about Cyprus is that the sea will still be warm, about 28 degrees apparently. Have a nicetrip. Where are you heading?
Have a lovely time and well done for taking your kit! Holiday running is so great. Relax and enjoy and look forward to hearing from you (with a pic of course) when you're back!
I once went to Cyprus this time of year and many hotels had closed for the season and Ayia Napa was restored to peace and quiet. Our hotel had taken the sunbeds away and half emptied the pool. What a rip off π Troodos was cold so wear trousers π Plenty of promenade running in prospect i'd say
I'm surprised they had taken away the sunbeds and emptied the pool! That must have been a real let down especially with high temperatures. Was 34 degrees there yesterday someone told me. Will fly in trousers and will definitely need warm gear for when we get back so we will have some warm stuff with us. I'll be a bit relieved if the hustle and bustle of summer is over though. We are staying near a small village bacjing in a national park so I am really hoping for some quiet. Living in a city I don't need lots of action on holiday.
