I jogged my W5R2 yesterday, to be honest each time I go I wonder how on earth I will do it then I just have the attitude of well let’s try, on this jog I found myself battling with half my mind suggesting I give up and the other half telling me to carry on!
I’m a bit nervous about tomorrow, my first 20 min run with no break, I’m finding the music on the podcast a bit too boring so I’ve downloaded my own playlist.
25 mins of Calvin Harris/Swedish House Mafia/Rudimental to jog to and Keane and yes a Rick Astley song to cool down after 😁

Good luck to you Laura for your 20 minutes of W5R3, just take the run slow and steady listening to your favourite 🎶. music. 😊
You’ll do it because you’ve trained for it. I believe this is the run that everyone is afraid of. I certainly was but I aced just like you will. Well done for getting this far. Keep it up and good luck... ps, I also love a bit Rick Astley. I watched him support Take That in MK a few months ago.. he was incredible!!
You can do this. Just go slow and slower again if needed. Music you like will really motivate you go keep going as I wouldn't be without music on a run . Good luck😊
I just finished week 6 so my first 25 min run done.
I struggled on your week until I was on the 20 min run and I found it far easier than I thought.
Trust the program and your body will take care of the stamina required.
I have never used the podcast and just use tracks from spotify that have a good beat. I find my feet effectively just keep to the beat and it helps.
Pick songs you like but with a good steady beat.
WK7 starts on Sun for me. 3x25 min runs but I am looking forward to it now.
Don't worry about speed either. I was thinking about speed like you but now its about running for 30 mins. Forget the 5k distance and concentrate on getting to 30 mins.
