Week 4 run 1 smashed! Couch to 5k..? Is this going to be more of a couch to 3k?

Managed first 3 weeks, easier than I thought it would be, can't believe I jogged for 5 mins non stop, twice! Really enjoying this programme at the mo.

I'm wondering, is the 5k in 30 mins actually doable, especially at the jogging pace that is recommended?

I would keep going on the programme aiming to run for 30 mins by the end. It is possible but I understand only around 10% achieve it. It’s more the 30 min runs your aiming for. Good luck and well done.

Great, you've got to wk4. Don't worry about getting to 5k at the moment just focus on getting to the end of each run. Well done you 😊😊

Hi just completed week 4. I was amazed I ran for 2 lots if 5 minutes. I found the 2nd run easiest and the last run hardest. 4 weeks ago I’d have said never. Well done and keep going.

I think the aim is to run for 30 minutes 3 times in one week?

If you want to run 5k in 30 minutes i think you have to have an average pace of around 6 kph.

Took me 16 months to get to 5k in under 30 minutes. C25k is all about running for the allotted time however slowly. 👍
