Hi everyone. I’m 51 and probably as unfit as anyone can be but 6 weeks ago I committed to the C25K journey and can honestly say, thanks to the fabulous support on this forum, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. It’s changed my life. To anyone considering starting it I’d say definitely just do it! Bring on week 6 run 3- the dreaded 25 minutes 😏

Your on wk6 already nothing to dread all your running up until now have prepared you for it. Just go slow and keep up your hydration as it's so important . Good luck 😊

Both runs 3 of week 5 and week 6 of C25K should not be dreaded, 20 minutes of W5R3 and a 25 minute run of week 6. Take both of these runs slow and steady, good luck. 👍 🏃🏾 😊

Thank you. I actually preferred the 20 minutes in week 5 to the intervals. 🏃🏼‍♀️

Well done, you’ve managed so far so reason why you won’t make the next run too.

I could not agree with you more, speaking as a 50 year old who has recently graduated! One of the best things I have done for a long time. Enjoy the last few weeks, don’t be daunted by the longer runs as the training from the previous weeks will kick in and see you through them. Good luck.

Fine, but I am very sensitive to people using words of dread and fear on this forum, because we do have to encourage those who have very fragile belief in their own abilities, who can be adversely affected by careless use of inappropriate language.

There is no need to dread anything about C25K.
