Only two runs left until I complete the programme. Haven't decided where I will go from here. At the moment my goal is to continue go out three times a week and keep moving for 30 minutes.

Once I have established that as a habit we will see where I go from there.

Well done. We’re at the same stage, the end is in sight. I agree with you, just consolidating the half hour runs, 3 times a week is my goal and then I’ll join a park run and take it from there.

Enjoy your running.

Fantastic! 👏👏 Once you've graduated, you might find that 3 x30 minutes runs every week is too much, so you might consider using one of those sessions for a shorter run. Maybe use the short run to try intervals or run/walk, to increase strength or speed. This would be a good base for going on to 10k if that appeals to you!

Yes I think you are right. I was going to do slightly shorter runs during the week with a slightly longer one at the weekend while trying to improve my pace, little by little.

3 years ago I worked up to 10K over time but then the time involved became too much and I ended up stopping running altogether. My goal this time is to maintain the habit of running three times a week.

I think you've got that just right. I was a whisker off 10k this year then I was ill and I'm building back up, but the long runs need planning for. It's so much easier to nip out for half an hour!

Excellent news! I’ve just got back from this one - not too hard - but I still can’t believe I’ve done a full 30 minutes. I feel that 2 mid week 20-30 mins runs and then a full 30 -40 mins to get the 5km is my goal.

For now though I’m looking forward to graduating on Saturday if my plan works! See you at the finish !
