Hi folks, well, that's the last run of the program done for me this morning. Oddly, I found it really hard and had to fight with myself to get out and do it this morning. Having read other posts from other recent grads, I think it has something to do with not knowing where to go from here and the realisation that running doesn't suddenly get easy, but your tips are all really helpful. For me, I think it's about continuing with some sort of structure, such as parkruns wherever possible, and finding some running buddies to keep the motivation going. I've been here before; a level of fitness I'm proud of...and I've let it all go. Well, I'm determined not to let it happen this time. This forum is a wealth of positivity from truly inspirational people, and I feel thankful to have found it at the right time. So the adventure starts here? ☺️
Week 9 run 3...done!: Hi folks, well, that's the... - Couch to 5K

Well done on graduating and good luck with the park runs.
Well done. I am one run behind you. Don't forget to apply for your badge. Whats next for you?
Well done graduating.
Hope you find more inspiration to carry on. You're on the right forum at least
Congratulations and very well done. I have just 4 more runs to go. Looking forward to achieving your success.

Congratulations Emmy 😊🎉🎉🎉
Well done on graduating....
Yep, its up to you now...but it is still fun. Consolidating the 30 mins is a good idea with your own music..or still with Wk9 (maybe Laura)...
There are the c25k +podcasts to try..and at some point you may like to try longer distance (suggest you stick to 30 mins or 5k for a while first)
For today though...a victory dance and a bit of a celebration are in order..🎈🎊🎉🍦👏👏👏

Keep posting, keep running😊
Congratulations! That's an awesome achievement. I can't believe that will be me in 4 weeks, but it will! I'm so thrilled to be doing it and to have got beyond week 3 (now in week 5).
Have you explored running clubs. I'm so lucky to have found a local group that gets people from walking to progressing up to 10k. I'm in the c25k group and when I've done that there's a 5k improvers group and then a 10k group. There will be running clubs nearby, surely, that will keep you on your toes. Well done you! I hope you're extremely proud of yourself. 😊
Thank you so much all, I'm so grateful for your kind and encouraging words, and hope everyone who's doing the program, whether it's week one or week 9 (last run WhatsApp!) every success! I'll be celebrating for you all too 😊 Thanks Jan and minty for your advice too, I'll def try consolidating for a while and am planning to give a friendly running club in my local area a hi; yours sounds fab minty!
Thanks for letting me know how to apply for the all important badge too 😮😀
