Week 9 Run 1 - Hard cheddar

Man, I found it hard work out there this morning. No 5 min prompting from Claire/Laura/whats'erface - this made it a real grind or maybe it was the lower temperature that didn't help or both.

Anyway it's done and 2 more runs to go.

I am barely making it to 4k at this stage. So much for finishing with a 5k this Saturday. Chin up, eh and look forward to Run 2 this Thursday!

Thanks, poppy! I've no idea where those tags come from, cheeky things!

You are all excused now.

You're doing great and achieved so much. Only two runs away from graduating ;)

Thanks, Paul. I'll pick myself up and get back in the race!

Don't worry about the distance - there are not many of us who achieve the 5k on our last run of week 9. The programme is to run for 30 minutes and you are doing that. The weather does make such a difference too so hoping it's with you all the way to the finish line. Good luck for your next run - not far now!

You found the run hard but still did it. That says a lot about your determination. Well done. You'll nail the last two runs, just take them slow and steady and forget about distance at this stage.

Will do, IrishPrincess. Thanks.

I really wanted to finish with a 5k run on W9R3 so I did run the distance, but it took a lot longer than the 30 mins !!

I'm nowhere near the 5K either! I am if I include my two 5 minute walks but running is just about 4K. Going to have to really pace myself on Saturday - doing a 5K fun run but I guess I'll be able to walk/run if I need to.

Exactly, it's fun first! Keep up the good work and we'll get through.
