Back again!!

Well 15 months on since I broke my shoulder and a full before the bone fully healed, I am back running!

Just starting week 7 tomorrow!

I haven’t written on this forum for quite a while!

Please note I am not a beginner to C25K to be clear!

7 weeks ago I stared to run again as I hadn’t run since October last year because I could only run in the evenings. I was worried about tripping and injuring my shoulder further!

I still did fitness walking 5k, 2or3 times a week as I didn’t want to lose my fitness again!

So as I said I started running 7 weeks ago starting from scratch! It was great being back with my running friends and have made some new one with the current beginners group!

Last Thursday I was the only beginner there as the others were away due to the bank holiday weekend!

We did a whole club run from our meeting point into the town castle and back but keeping to the intervals I really surprised myself as The team leader had joined me up with the rebooters and I managed to keep pace with them! Yesterday I went out on my homework run and really enjoyed it. I ran a lot further than planned enjoying being out on a country lane and the sunny weather!

Grandsons are wonderful .It's been a tough year and my health hasn't been great, I'm also in the middle of a move so my running is short, slow and not very often but give me a couple weeks and I'll start to build back up again

Good luck with the move always stressful! It can be cathartic going through what to keep what not to keep!

So many things and so many memories!

For you this must be a huge step moving froward for you!

Are you moving far?

Give yourself a run break to help clear your mind every now and then is a good way! When you are settled you can build it up again! Discovering new run place will be fun!
