5k on the walls of beautiful Lucca

What a lovely way to start a weekend. My first run where my running buddies had two legs not four. My husband and my friend (she’s a veteran of 5 marathons) slowed down to run with me on the walls of lovely Lucca. I worried about my slow pace but they were wonderfully supportive. Loving this running bug. Have a great weekend with joyful runs.

It is Oldfloss. And they have parkrun. We didn’t do it as we were out earlier but I’d love to come back and give it a go.

It is lovely Mummycav. I was so grateful to run with experienced runners for the first time. Really made me feel like I’m a proper runner now.
