Week 2 done done and done

So I had some time away since starting this... a year ago?

First i got incredible blisters, like the most infected, gross things. Then life happened and I was sucked into work for a while, but then i moved Country, my apartment has a gym and i ran out of excuses, so here I am.

I started and completed week 1 - and ached quite a bit. Overall though - not bad!

Last week i did week 2, completed it, but got a little TOO into it on the last run, i extended my running times, sped up, and generally got really pumped (I blame the prodigy, who i was listening to at the time). I ended up with two pulled calf muscles. I also had swapped my shoes for some barefoot runners, which felt amazing, but maybe i need to work up to them. I took the rest of the week off and allowed some rest. Last night i redid one more run of week 2 to make sure I was ok, and I felt great!

Now off to week 3 - Im excited!

Welcome back and congradulations in getting started. The plan is a plan for a reason - itcworks and it helps prevent injury if you keep it slow. 9 weeks will pass in a flash and you'll be amazed how far you can go.
