Which, frankly, surprised me as I went out for a curry last night and also had a cheeky beer 😬

I definitely did not want to part company with my bed this morning...

But I got out and did it. Felt so sluggish to start with, nearly thought “blow this for a game of soldiers” around 10 mins in, but kept plodding and even increased my pace for the last few minutes 🏃‍♀️ Can’t believe week 9 starts next week!

Been meaning to ask: anyone else get tingling fingers / hands when running? Noticed it quite a bit recently. Doesn’t really bother me, but would be interested to know why 😊

Happy running to anyone heading out today!

Yes I think it’s quite common! I frequently have to stretch my fingers. Well done - nearly 🎓

Ah thanks Tasha 😊 Good to know I’m not some weird medical anomaly 😂

Great, you've now completed wk8. The tingling can be cause by clenched hands . Try to relax your shoulders, all the way down to your hands . Well done you 😊

Thanks Buddy! I have been consciously trying not to clench my hands actually. (What do people do instead? Run with kind of flat palms?)

I still have a clenched look but not a full tight fist if that makes any sense

Somone one on here once described having your hands poised as if gently holding a crisp between your thumb and fingers. Works for me 😊

Ah, helpful, thank you ping-pong. I shall practise tonight along with a glass of wine 🍷😀

Me too, going to try a new route for each of my last 3 runs as will be away from home. See you at the finish line.

The extra circulation can make fingers and toes tingle, mine come home really hot after a run.

Have fun with week 9
