Decided to run the trail again, but as I discovered it has an incline I got clever and took a bus to the TOP so the run was mainly downhill this time 🏃.
Went early so it was cool. Got the first bus. Felt I'd had enough at 23 mins just like my last run but kept on til the end of the 28 mins and could have gone for longer.
I'm sure Strava is lying again. It gave the distance as 4.9km and said I ran it in 16 mins. Rubbish! Laura timed me and I walked 5 ran 28 walked 5. Might have to invest in a running watch.
Trying to decide where to go for my first week 9 run. Hopefully will make it to Park Run on Sat so that could be either 1st or 2nd of week 9 depending on how this week goes. Will be interesting. During week 6 I did 5km in 42 mins, so expect to see an improvement.
I think more than one day off leaves me stronger.

Not quite sure how Strava works and if it needs constant network, though I’m guessing not, I have had a running app lose gps and pause though under trees. If it has an auto-pause, turn it off. Then it will keep the right time and be closer to the right distance, unless you’re running in a circle of course, then it could be way out.
Thank you UnfitNoMore you may have found the problem. Auto pause was off for run, but on for ride. It is now off off. I'm still not sure it will be accurate but will give it another go. Besides I didn't pause. Really I didn't!
Well done for keeping going! I'm not sure about Strava. It seems to be really popular but I've never got on with it. I use Runkeeper. Hasn't failed yet. Ive also got a fitbit but I forget to switch it on!!! 🤪🤪
