After my last run being so disastrous I was a bit apprehensive about this run but went along to the gym after work and just went for it. I managed to complete this run without any major hiccups and that's me now in my last week of the programme. I am so proud of myself for getting this far and with only 3 runs to go I know I am going to complete it. Who would have thought that someone who did absolutely no exercise before would be running for 30 minutes continuously. I still don't love running but I do love the sense of achievement that I feel after each run.

I mentioned to my husband last night that I should reward myself after me last run for sticking with the programme and graduating, has anyone else rewarded themselves for this? Not sure how to reward myself but I am definitely going to think of something. If anyone has any suggestions then please feel free to share them

I was thinking that some new running shoes would be good as going to continue running.

Pin badge?? Where do you get that from?

Congratulations! Its such a fantastic achievement and graduation is so close now!

I graduated yesterday - I like the idea of rewarding myself, and until you mentioned it i had forgotten to do it! I think for me - as i know i am going to continue this running business - i will treat myself to some super proper running shoes - and pay way more than i would normally for once because i deserve it!

Good luck for week 9 :-)

Woohoo!! So close, only one more week!

I'm thinking of getting myself a running belt when I graduate. I'm hoping to move progressively onto trails and increase the kilometers and/or pace this summer... so might need one that holds a water bottle!
