Yay.... well done 👍 I have to admit that running has become my new addiction now that I have stopped smoking.... at least it is a healthier one :)

I gave up the fags 5 years ago. Then I was addicted to nicotine gum until last year when I moved to normal gum. Non smokers have no idea how hard it is to quit. Well done you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Ps finally seeing the initial weight gain when I started running go away. I started at 91kg shot up to 94 seemed like mostly fluid. Now I am 89kg. Target weight is 83 which was my weight at 20 😆

Just in case any week 1 2 or 3 people read this I struggled bad until it started to click in wk4. 👍🏼 it’s worth the short term pain.

That's why it's good to post about the good and not so good runs . It lets others see that sometimes it can be a struggle as well as a success😊

To be fair until 4 weeks ago I really believed I could not run. Walk fast for an hour no problem but run for a minute no way. So I really can understand how other starters feel.

I would see people running when out walking my dog and would think to myself , I wish I could do that. So I joined c25k and it said it can get you running for 30 minutes and I thought how is that even possible. But here I am and it is possible and I now really love running 😊
