So first run of week 5 completed. Not too bad and the last half of my last run was uphill!! Feeling pleased.

Definitely a morning runner. Find it much easier. may have to get up early to attempt run 3!!!

Just loving this programme and all the lovely peeps on the forum.

Woohoo!

I did w5r1 this morning too!

I think if I do my runs later in the day I'd give up half way cause I would've been so busy anyway.

Next run is 2 x 8 minute runs 😯😐

Weekend morning runs are lovely. Trouble is its a little more difficult during the week to do the mornings. I am however going to do my 20 min one wed morning I think.

Hope yours went well this morning. My 8 minute ones will be after a very long day on Monday so hope I can do it.

Good luck with yours πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Thanks😁 school holidays will wreak havoc with my morning runs but I will be trying to graduate before they're halfway through!

Oh yes, thankfully mine are just old enough to leave for a bit. My son comes with me sometimes too.

I am going on holiday beginning of Augus...now that will be a challenge πŸ˜€

Our holiday is beg of Aug too...my goal was to be able to run on the compact wet sand for a reasonable amount...ie...not 3 mins so if I can do 20/25 mins I'll be happy x

Did that one yesterday evening....and it was doable! I was dreading it but the first run was great, the second half of the second run was hard but I got there...not fast, not elegant but done ...

Go for it x

Well done, you should be really proud getting this far in the journey :)

I've done every run in the afternoon after from parkruns, I want to start doing the runs in the morning as I feel great after the parkruns and people like you on here suggest going for the runs in the morning and it seems to be better to get them out of the way, can you suggest anything for me to remember to do the runs in the morning?

Keep up the good work, it doesn't matter how long it takes to complete the programme, it's what you learn about yourself and completing the programme, for me it's took me over 10months and I've now on to week 9 :)

Take care,

Siobhan x

Thank you. I am really proud of myself.

As for remembering in the morning, not sure...I naturally wake very early so never a problem. Do you have someone who could wake you?

I want to do the park rubs too once I've graduated but a little nervous about looking an eejit if everyone is all sporty !!!

I could get my mum to wake me up on certain days that I want to go and complete a run, been trying to wake myself up early but it's not happening any time soon to be honest,

You should go for it, I thought I'd look like an idiot running as well because it's not as bad as you think it is, the people are great and really welcoming and everyone is just fantastic, I went to my first parkrun really nervous not sure how people was going to take me but it was the total opposite, people who go to parkruns some a good runners but a lot just go to complete a 5km run and some like you and me are doing c25k or have graduated and they decide to take that step and go for it :)

Take care,

Siobhan x
