I'm New.....Wish Me Luck

Hello. After joining and spending the last week reading your personal stories, I finally mustered up enough motivation of my own. So yesterday, I finished the last packet of Sensations I found in the cupboard, went shopping and for the first time, I bought no 'treats' focusing mostly on the fruit n Veg aisle.

Finished my very first run this morning with Jo Whiley.

Ok , so I didn't complete every 90 second jog but I gave it a good try. I'm determined to finish this.

I know what I'm like and will probably settle back into my old ways by tomorrow evening, order Uber eats and delete this app, so I'm hoping I can make some friends on here who will be encouraging :)

Enjoy this lovely, Saturday. Jay x

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Keep repeating any session that you don't fully complete before moving on and you will astound yourself.

Keep posting and we will stop you from backsliding.

You can do this.

Great for getting started. Have a rest day and try the run again until you've completed every run section to the end. Just go really slow and make sure you are drinking 2-3 litres of water per day and not just on run days.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊

You’ve started and that’s an important step. I’m still procrastinating about it and reading on here but not doing it! Well done for starting.

That's what I did for the last week until I got out of bed this morning without giving myself a chance to think about it and make excuses for why I couldn't be bothered. I mean it worked for me. I don't know how my mindset will be come the 2nd run but I really want to do this.

Just go for it :)
