So up until now I've been running under cover of darkness. I get up at 5:15 and head out while the moon is still in the sky. I actually quite like this because it feels like the world belongs to me alone, but it also has the advantage of few people seeing me huffing and puffing at a pace a snail would be ashamed of.
But tomorrow, I promised to join my daughter in a fun run in aid of the school. Only 1k, which is nothing to a week 7 veteran like me But it will be the first time my running self ventures out in public so to be honest, I'm not feeling the most confident.
So this is me blatantly leaning on my virtual family - any words of encouragement? Thanks as always.
