Quite proud of myself as I am such a couch potato π now my heel blisters are getting better too so hoping to be without plasters next week. When I start my left shin is a bit sore but this gets better as I get into the session. Should I be worried about it? Also when is best to get proper running shoes? I know I should read the faqs but perhaps someone could point me at a bit of help. Thanks so much.

I'll point you to the FAQs...............
To be honest i have read a lot of them. Still not sure when to look for shoes though, soon or leave it a bit longer? Is it best to get them from somewhere that does the gait analysis or not yet?
If you look at the FAQs you will find a post with my thoughts on buying running shoes. I recommend that you need proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop and no later than the end of W4..........that is just my opinion. There is other useful information in the post.

Great for completing wk2 r3. The sooner you get proper running shoes the better . They really do make a difference. I can't tell you what type as everyone is so different. Well done you π
