Valium taper slip

Hi I was diagnosed with a progressive illness called peripheral theropathy....I was put on diazepam and reached highest dose....I only had 2 weeks left on my taper and had a slip and took more than my recommended dose.....will this effect the rest of my taper?

This is a running forum, and your GP would be better placed to advise you. In theory, it’s no biggie, but may need to slow your taper... but like I said, speak to someone who knows.
