How is it all going.. the month is moving on so quickly...some gorgeous running days and some a tad damp!
I have had a few great runs lately... really relaxed running, taking in the sights and sounds and the scents of Autumn, now creeping in gently and sweetly
There are so, so many of us running now and doing the most amazing things... This is a great place to share your thoughts and your running plans with each other
The number of folk on the forum is still increasing... we can hardly keep track! It s tricky to keep up with everyone's progress... it is great to have a little fun post, so we can see who is on which week of the programme, and hopefully it will help everyone to feel more included on the forum.
I apologise if I miss posts or replies, as there really are a lot of us!
We can support, encourage and generally help each other, in a positive and friendly way, with no thought of comparison.
Please remember it doesn't matter if you stay on the same week for a while, that is fine; it is a journey and it really doesn't matter how long it takes, it will be so worth it when you get to the final run.
If you have just Graduated, also, this will be a great place to keep you motivated, and there is a brand new Quest on here, every month too...please do take a look and join in!
This month..our awesome IannodaTruffe is hosting it!
The Search for an Indian Summer Quest! WOW!
One of the best things about this weekly chat is that you can TALK to each other, support and encourage each other and find folk on the same week or run as you.
Take a peek here and join in the conversation !
So, please do come and join the fun...just slip off your running shoes, and just let us know how it is going

Helpful & encouraging as always!! Hereβs to our admin team who give us professional help, make this forum a happy, friendly space & give of their time to support us! π₯³ππThank you πππ
That is fantastic... and thank you! The whole team..( all volunteers) are undergoing mighty changes at the moment and it is great to know how folks feel about us.
This forum is the best isn't it... we all run together at whatever level we are
I cant tell you how much this forum means to me, especially in the very early stages of my C25K journey! Since graduating in the first week of September I've enjoyed the freedom of Just Running, because I want to! I've somehow managed to keep up the motivation of running for 30 minutes without the app and achieved a PB this week π 5K in 28 mins! I've learned so much about myself and what I'm capeable of, all thanks to C25K and the support of everyone on this incredible forum! Thank you to all the Admins for your time and dedication, it really is very much appreciated! β€οΈ
This week will be my last week of consolidation runs.
Huge huge well done and many thanks for your kind remarks, which I will pass on to the rest of our team. A bit of upheaval currently but we will get there!
You are doing amazingly... and really enjoying those runs too!
Now is the time to move forward.. short slightly speedier runs and the lovely long slow runs that build up distance and speed
Maybe take a peek at the Quest too, unless you are already there..
I've said it before and I will say it again. The c25k running plan is really great to get people running for 30 minutes but this forum with its volunteers is amazing . If I didn't have have a place to post and ask questions I don't know if I could have done it. I'm now running 3-4 times a week now and just done my second parkrun . So thanks πππππ
Hello! I have just finished week 7 run 2, I find it hard to run in the week (job hours) so commonly I pick back up on fridays and sundays. Just joined, hope to keep updating!
So glad youβre enjoying your runs and the lovely scent of autumn, Oldfloss, me too! And I want to thank all the admins too, this forum is so encouraging, it makes a huge difference to us all, so thank you for your hard work π€
Iβm gradually returning from my injury, back to W5R3, so not too far from where I had got to, being patient but still needing all fingers crossed that itβs ok! Loving my runs and feeling like a runner πππΌββοΈ
I finally got my butt in gear hours after breakfast--4 o'clock! and did Stamina.... so I am okay. However, I stopped lifting weights last year and haven't been doing alternate day walking so I need to get myself "back in the program," so to speak. It's muggy here in Michigan and I wear a cap to shade my eyes from the sun. I guess my eyes are just more sensitive than when I was younger, as it really bothers me going back into a darker house after running in sunlight; I get eyesight "flutter" if I don't wear my cap and go gradually back in the house. Anyway, the cap comes in handy with these little pesky bugs that like to fly in front of my face--usually not landing--but just in front of me. How annoying!
