Knee pain... HELP

I’ve been working hard and completed my week 2, but my knees have completely seized up. I’ve been stretching, and doing low impact yoga on my off days, but nothing seems to help.

I just can’t do my run today. How can I get back on my feet?

Perhaps visit the doctor? Maybe best

Maybe have a few extra rest days with just walking . If this doesn't help a visit to your doctor would be best. Good luck 😊

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing, minimising impact, stretching after every run and dealing with injury, all of which may help.

Enjoy your journey.

I had the same problem the same week. I gave the running a miss for 2 weeks but did leg strengthening excercises everyday instead. I found the exercises on the nhs website as it says if your legs aren't srong enough it can lead to knee problems. I am now on wk6 and have had no knee problems since.
