So I’m currently on holiday, I’ve not run this week, but I have walked 48 miles in 4 days! I’ve been getting pain in my hip radiating down the outside of my leg and to my knee at the top of the shin. Anyone know what this could be?
Thanks

Wow 12 miles a day for 4 days is a lot! Are you used to that level of exercise? If not then it's probably just over use strain/ soreness and test should help. But if the pain persists see a specialist doc or sports physio. That pain could be from your lower back, groin, knees muscles or ligaments! It's complicated, get it sorted to prevent long term issues. Best wishes and enjoy your running
Hi All, no I’m not used to walking such distances in consecutive days. We normally go on a 10k walk once a week, but that’s the joy of a city break! I’ve been wearing my trainers that I run in.I’ll take a look at IT band stretching. Thanks all.
