As I "run" since W1R1 every second day (even if I had to repeat a run), I didnt' on sunday and yesterday... Yesterday was my first working day after holidays and after two nights with just a bit of sleep, I had such a headache, that I couldn't go yesterday.
BUT: Today after work I went - inspite of the rain (it is only raining once since yesterday). I don't have special clothes, so I had a light windjacket without arms (that lets the water through without problems) - and I had to check my shoes for fishes
Maybe you remember... I have to take heart medikaments that prevent my heart to get a fast pulse (new once since two weeks) - and I struggled a lot with week 4 and felt like needing oxygen tent. The first ten minutes are like hell.
Well today I went off - and did it!!! It rained and rained - well you can't get more went until to your skin :-). From a certain point, it doesn' matter anymore, how much it rains...After the run I put on a long rain jacket, sothat the car seat remained dry.
On the left side of the foto, you can see a brown river, that ist normally silent, clear and 10-15 cms deep with stone islands in it - now it is a stream.
Looking forward to the next run (with a little bit of fear...) - Sometimes I can't believe, that I really make the progress, that is needed for the runs - but I do...
So, enough for today from rainy Switzerland.

Great job... and you’re right, once you’re wet you’re wet! I had one last week where I couldn’t have been wetter if I’d been swimming, and they’re strangely pleasing runs!
Some trepidation is ok... we all get that, but we can always do the next run! Enjoy that next one.
I was so wet, that I looked like having had a shower and no towel.
It is true, what you said - I enjoy the wetter ones more, than the others. Sounds crazy... Ok I don't really enjoy running - I hope, one day I will really do.
Hi Pepe, don't worry about spelling mistakes, nice photo of you, I am glad that you enjoyed your run today despite the heavy rain, plenty of hills where you are to train for runs, I love Swiss music, whether it's from the German or French language part of Switzerland.
Well as an unfit beginner, I hate the hills.... I admit, I go by car to a small river, because it is flat. But when I don't "run", I love the mountains, too.
Do you have a favourite swiss band or singer? Do you understand the swiss german text?
I am german, and in the first months, it was difficult to understand swiss music.
I listen to SRF Musikwelle as that is the radio station that plays a lot of German and Swiss German music, of course I listen to that station on the Internet, yes, the Swiss German dialect is a bit different than standard German, so someone coming from Germany would find Swiss German quite difficult to understand.
Well done! Same as above, I quite enjoy the rainy ones, nice and refreshing. I’ve just finished week 4 run 3, and like you can’t actually believe how far I’ve come. We’re doing great!
