1st Parkrun 👌

Yesterday I ran my first Parkrun - what a great bunch of folk, some of them I knew but had no idea they did Parkrun! I can highly recommend it. I know it's not a race but I came 169 out of 187 in 38.24 mins. The photo looks like I'm walking but honestly I got all the way around without walking at all. The old legs had a serious talking to in the last 1/4 and happily they responded🏃‍♀️🙆‍♀️😁

You'll really enjoy it, just don't go off too fast - my music helped to keep me in check but it was still over a minute quicker than my last 5k.

Thanks for the tips - I assume the other runners are a motivator 😊. I have only ever run solo but going with a couple of friends.
