Well i did my 1st Parkrun and it was fine. A sunny day with 460 other runners! I got a time of 33.46 mins. Considering I walked the 1st 4 or 5 mins and walked for 3 mins in the middle, I'm pleased with my time. Not bad for week 6 of the programme.

Brilliant, well done. You're doing really well, and still 3 weeks to graduation, think what you're time will be by then.

My first Park Run today as well but I graduated several weeks ago.

Happy Running!

Yeah, yeah, yeah! Go you! That's a mighty fine time too, well done.......hope you enjoyed it......now.....just another 49 to do, to get that first milestone t-shirt, oh and there is one for when you've volunteered 25 separate times.....

Free stuff, what's not to like! πŸ˜„

I'm not a vain person as a rule but I'll be having a good long preen in the mirror when I get hold of that black 100 shirt. 28 to go!

Absolutely! I've got 9 to go......all being well it'll be the begining of August......πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ.........mind you, the one I'm most proud of is the purple volunteer shirt.........in fact I love all my parkrun shirts........(i've got some apricot too πŸ˜„........addicted to parkrun, ....me?.....)

I don't think I'll worry about it too much after the 100, it's gonna take a heck of a long time to get the 250! πŸ˜‚

Keep well, get that 100 shirt! πŸ‘

Great to hear from a regular volunteer-the lifeblood of parkrun! I'm half way to purple but should get there quite quickly as I'm on the core team of a new parkrun starting up in June. Not sure about the apricot shirt, though. I bought one a while back but haven't worn it outside yet. It doesn't exactly hide the bumps, does it?

Oh that's fantastic, good luck with that, the core teams are just brilliant........yes, you can't hide in the apricot can you! πŸ˜‚..... but who cares, it's the parkrun f-a-m-i-l-y...!

All the best with your new parkrun πŸ‘
