From scared to smashing it!

Today was w6r3, 25mins which I was really worried about especially since ive not had much sleep or the best eating/hydration the last few days

However, I smashed it!! I actually hit 5k just as the 25minutes are up which I was so shocked at. It's taken me more than 6 weeks to get here, granted, but a few weeks ago I couldn't even imagine running for 5 minutes, let alone 25mins! So if any beginners are reading this and worrying how they will cope, trust me you will! Looking forward to the weeks ahead now, I know I can do this.

LOL, 5K in 25 minutes? You can't be that much of a beginner! That's more like semi-pro. ๐Ÿคฉ

But well done on your achievement!

Ive been going to the gym for about 4/5 years but mainly lifting weights and short bursts of cardio. The reason I started C25k was because i couldn't run for more than a minute or so without getting pain in my hip and ankle so I was always put off running. Ive done a 5k race for life in the past but was just a haphazard combo of jogging and walking with no structure. This is the first time I've been able to run consistently without stopping through pain or frustration or stitch, which is my goal ๐Ÿ˜Š
