Smashing it

So, thought I would post after completing week 8 run 2. I am 17st, 34 years old and haven't done a huge amount of exercise but I am really enjoying C25K. Never thought I would be able to run this far. I am still out of breath but always have more in the tank and feel I could run for longer but am keeping to the times. How do I go from 5k to 10k or is it just a case of increase the time every week by a few minutes or keep the time but run quicker?

This is what I am on now with the 5mins before and after included

Amazing!! I love that photo - what app are you using? A little over a week and you’ll have graduated!!

There is a bridge to 10k group here and they can point you in the right direction!

It's the S Health app that comes with all Samsung phones you do need to set the run to basic workout and then it'll just track you and let you know each I'm or mile depending on what measumwnt you have set

Well done you!.. I’ve just completed run 1 of week 3. Never thought i would get this far to be honest, always hated running and exercise for that matter! But like you I’m really enjoying the C25K, feeling better after each one really hoping I can complete it! All the best xx
