W3 R1

Well, I've just completed W3 R1 and the thought of jumping from 90 seconds to 3 minutes...yes double... was somewhat disconcerting to say the least. I have completed it but I did find myself getting a bit of a tight chest and a dry cough, but that might be medication... I'm hoping the chest is the body's way of saying

"Oi... what's this exercise lark... you need more oxygen..."...anyway, 1 down, and lovely views.

Yes, seafront is flat and today was pretty much perfect...not too much running traffic early on a Sunday. 😹

I hope so, going from 3 to 30 in the next 7 weeks, my body is in for a shock, although I hope it's a pleasant and beneficial surprise 😉

You are doing everything right just trust the program- you can definitely do this and yes your body is adapting. Keep drinking loads of water and stretching those legs. Good luck!!

Thanks for the support. Yes, I think water and keeping hydrated are essential but you don't necessarily realise how much until you start off and make the step changes.
