How has the Quest been for you this month. Lots of challenges with the weather, have you managed to keep up with what you wanted to do?

Escape to Exercise Quest - last few days

I have to say I think I managed all I wanted to do this month mainly because I took the intensity down when things got really challenging with the weather and work, so not my normal exercise month but really pleased I managed to just keep going.
How did you all do?

The goals are for us. Sometimes fitness is about knowing when to ease off or pause. There was some good stuff around re: dogs saying no dog would die from missing a day's walk but they might from going out in the heat (plus some miserable images of burned pads)
Three runs done again last week accompanied by RockMyRun. Not very long, 3.8 K generally, and not very fast either 10 mins+ per Km.
Next month just a little further in the same time. That started well this morning with 4.2Km in 9.02/Km. Back home just after 7 am before the streets get too warm. Stay cool.

A slightly confusing picture. My Fitbit says 33 active minutes but tracked 70. I was away staying with friends and between heat and one of them being considerably more disabled than he was last time I saw him, there was less that could be done. Between heavy rain (I don't mind it myself but Google does) and heat that made me woozy if I was out for more than 30 seconds, not a lot happened.
I did keep up pretty well with yoga - my room was big enough. Yesterday I made it to my previous target but I'd upped it one so just need that to achieve that goal. I've only done two classes though so will try to get a couple in before the end of the month.
Achieved my food recording target but can't say it's had a great effect. Summer is always a challenge for me and the reduced exercise does make a difference, even though I don't burn that many calories.
Vet consultation with Google on Friday. The vet has a blind dog herself and tried to reset my expectations downwards, saying that for her dog slow sniffage walks are the limit.
Well done with the yoga, it is hard keeping things going while away. On google doesn’t it make a difference to the sort of walks they are used to in the first place, I think animals are like us we all have our own capabilities. I’m sure Google will lead they way and show you what he is capable of. Rfc x
