Exercise on non running days
@oldfloss should be able to help with some stretching exercise app that a lot of folk on here follow on non run days.
For me....I just make sure I am out walking.
Jog up the stairs at home, use the stairs at work instead of the lift. Get off the bus a stop earlier or park somewhere different.
Swimming and cycling are great as well.
You’re looking to just keep building on that stamina so low impact stuff.
You could try the NHS Health and Flex programme nhs.uk/Video/Pages/strength... which is general but useful for anyone.
Walk.. swim or cycle.. Climb, garden or do housework.. Yoga or Pilates.

You do NOT have to wear the pale blue outfit

Lots online... get your own rest day routine organised and an every day one too,, and stretching after runs... essential too
Do some resistance exercise. Running will make you fitter but that is only half the picture and it will do nothing for making you stronger. Strength is never a weakness.
Do some skwaats and lift some heavy ass weights.
I did the strength and flex jobs with Laura, out and about, using the park railings etc Parks have outdoor fitness gear now and it's free 👍
Swim, cycle, walk, dance or whatever, just dont run 🙂 Fitness DVD or even on YouTube. Rig rates Millionaire Hoy 💪🙂
I like attacking the rowing machine at the gym
I have been doing stretches and not much else to give my legs time to recover but this week started a walk on the rest days. Feels good and is helping my breathing too I think.
