I took a break from the training last week because of the heat. Like you am on week 7 and have to run after work and it was unbearably hot, I wouldn't have enjoyed it. I started week 7 this morning under the pouring rain and really enjoyed it and I found I had not lost fitness at all! temperatures next week are early 20 so will complete my week 7 (hopefully!)
I was thinking about the advice I’ve read here about dressing as though it’s 10 degrees hotter than it is - so I think it could be really bad for us running in that heat - so wise to take a break. And now you know how lovely it is to run in the rain!
