Hello everyone. Well I started off the first two weeks well, shuffling along at a steady pace and happy. 😁 Week 3 runs fell into a particularly busy and stressful week at work. (Last week) More so than usual due to sickness and carrying works loads etc - long days and just couldn’t get myself out of bed in the mornings not for love nor money. The rain in the afternoons didn’t help. Seriously I’m not at the stage where I’m not bothered running in the rain. Not that I’ve tried it. I’m more of a sunshine girl (I’m not born British so weather is still a struggle) especially in Scotland! But tried to fit the 3 runs in but ended up with two.
Today is a public holiday and it’s raining and I just really don’t want to do the run. But I have this gremlin on my shoulder that says go just go. Anyway I’m heading out now for W3R3 and have planned 4 runs this week (rest day between) to get back on track. In the rain ☔️ forecast is heavy rain later so best get my trainers on.
Any tips on running in the wet?
Apologies for whinge and long post.

I did it! Whoop and don’t know why I was in such a bad head space about the rain. You’re right Jell6 you can’t get any wetter than wet and SlowLoris showers are warm and just what you need. Actually it stopped half way through and it was so fresh and it smelled so good. Feeling great ready for W4. Happy running 🏃🏼♀️ have a lekker day 😎
