Rain....

...but I still went running this morning with my hood up and did I notice it.....nooooo. The bluegrass Enya banjo track on week 3 put my mind off everything except praying it would end....my ears were bleeding but I carried on into the M-People like tracks and then everything was okay. I'm finding week three strangely achievable except for aching calves as I run....started doing warm-up and cool down....I'll end up buying lycra next and turning into a M.A.M.I.L (middle aged man in lycra)....you know...the Sunday cyclists with all the gear....(apologies to any MAMIL's who might be reading this....)

This running stuff is weird! Did my first run in the rain a few weeks ago, now I find I positively enjoy the rain and want to go out in it....

I agree with CurlyGurly. I'm being mercilessly bullied ( ;-) ) into abandoning the gym and running outside and I can tell you, I'm positively welcoming the fact it'll probably be raining as I can imagine it'll be splendidly cooling. I can't contemplate the idea trying to cool off after a knackering run in 25C+ temperatures.

I love running in the rain, even if it means I can't see through my glasses! Haha! I must admit as a 40 something woman, I never expected that I would wear Lycra! Haha!
