I have struggled to keep up the running in the last couple of weeks since graduation and have only run a couple of times in a week. I felt a bit like I was losing my mojo without the program to work to. However, I’ve been out to my local parkrun this morning and set a PB that was a minute faster than last week. I enjoyed the run and feel that I’ve found a bit of my motivation again so I will keep putting one foot in front of the other. I know I can run 5k, now I need to work on doing that in less than 30 minutes.

Well done for your new pb, it's a brilliant feeling isn't it? All your hard work is paying off!

Looks like park run has found your mojo. Well done you 😊

Well, I have run 3 times weekly since graduation, haven’t managed a 5k yet, but am doing around 3/3.5k each time, and feel that I don’t need to do anymore. I want to keep up the fitness and I am not competitive by nature, so am a committed runner but at my pace. Really glad you did your park-run and it made you feel good - big respect!

Brilliant, so well done. I’m consolidating and planning first ParkRun on 10th of next month. It’s hard I think to move from the structure of the program so I get what you mean. Good luck with your next runs 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️

Congratulations and very well done to you for your new PB. I adore parkrun and it too is my motivation. It’s what keeps me running 2 years after graduation. I volunteered this morning and I have 45 Parkruns done so far. My current PB is 26:13, I’m aiming for a sub 26 min parkrun by my 50th parkrun.
