So at GoodGym on Wednesday we discussed us doing Parkrun at Hackney Marsh this morning.Few of us agreed and signed up.Reminder last night while I was at leaving drinks for me and a colleague.

Cheese crackers,strawberries and champagne.

Woke up feeling a bit tender but bowl of porridge in my tummy and off we went.

First time at Hackney so met with the team and off we went, speedy guys disappear into the distance but I plod along, couple of running buddies spend up in last km,just couldn't stay with them.

Near finish cheered on by GoodGym buddies and Parkrunners so tiny sprint to the line.

Didn't check watch as finished but as wait to be scanned heard someone behind me being cheered for sub 30 minutes run.

This would mean I've broken the 30 minutes barrier....really.

Well found the restaurant of my team, and checked my time 29:14 a whopping 1:44 off my last PB.

Feeling awesome and a little bit tied.

All headed off for group breakfast 😊

Sorry if this rambled on but still buzzing

Excellent! Well done you, seems to be a day for it, we had loads of PB's at our parkrun today as we had quite a few pacers......lots of happy people! (I was volunteering - timekeeper 😊 - so may be I had something to do with it.......😄)

Fantastic! Well done, I'm living abroad at the minute but my home in England is hackney and the idea of park run at the marshes made me a bit home sick!
