Hi everyone. I'm loving reading your posts and answers here and its keeping me on track and motivated doing C25K.
I simply cannot believe that I ran non stop for 20 minutes! Me! Who dodged cross country at school and hated PE and the most fitness I've done as an adult is the occasional zumba class!
The last 5 minutes of the run was a huge argument in my head - saying I couldn't do it and I should stop and walk - but I didn't and I kept going and I'm so proud! Does that argument eventually go away, or do all real runners have it, even after graduation?
I'm loving discovering more about myself - pushing myself - and am so thankful to have found this community to share with and learn tips from - thank you x

Congratulations to you OpalEmerald on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran π π
Woohoo and well done! Hope you are feeling really proud of yourself. That run is a real milestone in the programme and I really started to believe I could complete the whole C25K programme after that 20 minute run. As for the voices, they tend to quieten down a bit. Everybody has the odd run that isn't much fun but I usually find that once I have managed the first ten minutes, I'll be OK to carry on. I'm having a rest this week as my hip is playing up and I can't believe how much I am missing my runs! Be warned, it gets a bit addictive! π
