Can’t believe I’ve just run 25 minutes non stop and including warm up & extended warm down have achieved 5km over a total of 45mins.

Just a few weeks ago I was panicking at moving onto week 3 and having to run for 3 minutes which seemed an impossible task. I’m now loving all the achievements that Strava keeps showing me and genuinely loving it.

Bring on week 7! I just need to master any type of hill now.

How was it Beccy - I’m doing my R3 tomorrow - did you have any issues with the first 10 minutes ? Any words of encouragement greatfully received !

Jo told me I was at the 12 min point and I was genuinely surprised, thought it was less than that. The last 5 mins were hardest so I just slowed a little.

My route today started slightly downhill, think that gave me confidence.

At the end Jo pushed for a final 60 second sprint, which was blinking hard but yes I upped the pace and kinda went with it.

I did go a different route today which just freshened things up a bit.

Good luck, not that you will need it!

I do that too, extend my warm down walk to make a total of 5k, and W6R3 remains my best time for the 5k walk/run. I was actually a fair bit slower on week 7 (might need to sneak an extra rest day soon, or maybe I was going too fast before, or both!) Again like you I’ve also been staying on fairly flat ground thus far :)
